I trained with Christina once a week for several months to work on lower body strength, and she did an amazing job.  She helped me rehab from years of overuse injuries and bad exercise habits.  She identified which muscle groups I had trouble with and worked with me every week to build them up in a sustainable way, showing me various new exercises and pro tips along the way, and correcting my form as needed.  She also gave me a take home exercise routine I could follow on days when we did not have sessions, which was super helpful.  Finally, she was always super positive and a great person to just chat about stuff with.

 

The end result was that after training with Christina, I was able to train hard for running races without getting hurt for the first time in years, and I ended up setting PRs by multiple minutes (!) in various running distances.

I am 61 years old, and most of my friends said I was crazy to hire a trainer, just accept the fact that you are getting older.  This made me even more committed to finding a trainer who could and would work with me understanding I am not looking to get ripped, but looking to feel better about myself.  

 

I contacted 6 trainers using yelp and other services, explained who I was what I wanted and the only one who called me back was Christina.  I am so thankful for this as she is a patient, excellent trainer who pushes me to be the best I can be,   Her discipline, demeanor and knowledge is superb, and anyone would be lucky to retain her for training. Thank you Christina for all you do for me, and making me feel like I am number one!

My goals for training were to gain weight and strength, and increase mindfulness. During our training my deadlift went from 180 lbs to 240 lbs, I gained 7 kg, and my training helped my work/life balance a great deal.

 

Christina pays great attention to details, she remembers all my programs, numbers, recent events, schedule changes, body conditions, in order to tailor the program to be perfect.
